Job summary

CVS Health in Hobart, Australia seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school learnings in real-world practice and support pharmacy teams. You’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and coaching from a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and outstanding patient care.

You will gain hands‑on experience across store operations, immunizations, and customer service, while developing clinical and technical knowledge in a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues, active listening
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions, days supply, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best action
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, vision, and dexterity requirements
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
