Job summary

Googong Pharmacy is offering an Intern Pharmacist role in Googong, NSW. You will work closely with experienced pharmacists to develop knowledge and practical skills required for pharmacist registration, with training, mentoring and opportunities to grow professionally.

The role covers both clinical and operational aspects, including vaccination services and pharmacist-led training. Structured support will help you complete internship requirements in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree completed or eligible to commence a pharmacist internship in Australia.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and supply prescription medications under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Provide medication counselling and patient education.
• Develop confidence in S2/S3 medication recommendations and counselling.
• Assist with medication reconciliation and clinical pharmacy activities.
• Assist pharmacists with clinical queries and patient enquiries.
• Assist with stock management, unpacking and rotation of medications.
• Participate in pharmacist-led training and professional development.
• Work towards completing all requirements of your pharmacist internship.
• Perform and deliver professional services like vaccinations and injections.
