Job summary

TerryWhite Chemmart Lutwyche is seeking a friendly and organized Pharmacy Assistant / Stock Controller to join our busy team in Brisbane. This part-time role focuses on stock control, inventory management and supporting daily retail operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in pharmacy or retail stock control, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well with the Retail Manager and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Stock Controller or in a similar retail role.
• Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Comfortable in a busy retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in stock management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process stock deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment.
• Manage expiry dates and stock rotation for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organised storeroom.
• Assist with stocktakes and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Retail Manager on merchandising and daily operations.
• Support catalogue promotions and seasonal merchandising.
• Keep shelves stocked, tidy and presentable.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with product recommendations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team for smooth daily operations.

Join Our Friendly and Growing Pharmacy Team!

TerryWhite Chemmart Lutwyche is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant / Stock Controller to join our busy and supportive team!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to develop their stock management skills, or someone with a background in retail inventory and merchandising who enjoys working in a team environment.

Your main focus will be stock control and inventory management, while also working closely with our Retail Manager and supporting the team with merchandising, customer service and product sales.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative and enjoys making a real difference to the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, checking and processing stock deliveries
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock ordering and replenishment
• Managing expiry dates, stock rotation and inventory accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient storeroom
• Assisting with stocktakes and resolving stock discrepancies
• Liaising closely with the Retail Manager to coordinate stock management, merchandising and daily retail operations
• Implementing planograms and maintaining attractive retail displays
• Supporting catalogue promotions and seasonal merchandising
• Keeping shelves well stocked, tidy and presentable
• Providing friendly customer service and assisting with product recommendations and sales, within your training and scope of practice
• Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Stock Controller or in a similar retail role
• Are highly organised, reliable and have excellent attention to detail
• Enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your responsibilities
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team
• Are confident in customer service and enjoy assisting customers with product selection and sales
• Communicate well and enjoy working closely with management and other team members
• Are comfortable working in a busy retail environment
• Are willing to learn and develop new skills

Experience with stock control, merchandising or pharmacy systems such as Minfos will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
