Blooms The Chemist in Padstow, NSW is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support the pharmacy by managing stock, assisting customers, and processing prescriptions in a busy, patient-focused environment.

This role involves front-line service, POS operations, and helping the pharmacist with administrative tasks while maintaining high standards of hygiene and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities in a busy pharmacy.
• Attention to detail and accuracy due to medication handling.
• Willingness to complete formal pharmacy assistant training or NSW registration.
• Retail or healthcare experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and organise stock, receiving, checking and shelving medications and health products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and flag items for reorder.
• Provide friendly customer service to patients and the public.
• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately.
• Answer telephone enquiries and direct customers appropriately.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organised and hygienic in line with health standards.
• Assist the pharmacist with admin tasks such as filing prescriptions and patient records.
• Assist with receipt and processing of prescription requests.
• Support front of shop displays and merchandising.
• Prepare Webster Packs.
