Job summary

Star Discount Chemist Golden Beach invites a Pharmacy Assistant to join on a casual basis, offering a friendly, customer-first environment on the Sunshine Coast. You will assist with prescriptions, provide expert health and beauty advice, and help with invoicing and stock management.

The role requires weekend availability. A Certificate in Community Pharmacy (I-IV) is a bonus, and knowledge of MINFOS or FRED dispensing systems is valued. Training and staff discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy or retail is preferred.
• Weekend work availability is required.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping us deliver exceptional customer care. In this role, you’ll:

Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.

Assist customers with prescription submissions to our pharmacists.

Invoicing and stocktaking

Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.

Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.
