Job summary

Priceline Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Coolangatta location in a casual capacity. You will support daily store operations, help customers with product selection, and assist the pharmacist with administrative tasks in a fast-paced retail health environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and advise on OTC health and beauty items.

Priceline Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Coolangatta QLD location. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, helping to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring our store runs smoothly. What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with product selection and providing helpful advice on over-the-counter health and beauty products
• Processing customer transactions at the till with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining store displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and presented to a high standard
• Supporting the pharmacist with administrative tasks and general pharmacy operations
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Keeping the store clean, tidy and organised in accordance with Priceline Pharmacy standards
• Assisting with stock management and inventory control
• Supporting promotional activities and helping to implement in-store marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, ideally within a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• A friendly, helpful disposition with a genuine passion for customer service
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual shifts as required
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards
• Willingness to learn about products and services to provide informed recommendations to customers
