Your opportunity:

• The Allied Health Trainee is reserved for employees undertaking pre-entry education in a relevant health profession, who will apply their existing knowledge and skills in their given discipline to perform basic duties under close clinical practice supervision of an experienced health practitioner.
• To deliver pharmacy services to customers, patients and stakeholders within Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• There is an active focus on building knowledge and skills in pharmacy.
• The role focusses on developing and building clinical competency by providing the opportunity for active participation in workplace training, assessment and feedback processes for HP1 Allied Health Students/Trainees.
• Performing within this role will be in accordance with the Queensland Health Guidance Note for Employing Health Practitioner 1 and Allied Health Assistants.

Temporary Part Time (16 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $17,653 p.a., comprising salary between $31.55 - $37.06 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP1) (Temporary Part Time, 16 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
