About the role

SA Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist (AHP2) to join its collaborative team within Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) based at Gawler. This role involves delivering a broad range of clinical and distribution services to optimise patient care. You will provide expert medication management, contribute to patient counselling, support safe prescribing practices, and ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

In this role, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to enhance the safe and effective use of medicines while contributing to research, education, and service improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to further develop their career within a statewide health service committed to quality and innovation.

About You

You are a registered Pharmacist with a commitment to providing patient-centred care and a strong interest in developing your clinical expertise.

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

  • Completion of a pre-registration training program in hospital or community pharmacy.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills with attention to detail.

  • Appointment is subject to vaccination and clearance requirements, including current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance.

Desirable: membership of a professional body, postgraduate study, or SHPA residency program participation.
