Qualifications

• AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist is required.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing Medicinal Cannabis prescriptions.
• Liaising with on-site prescribers to maximise patient care and health outcomes.
• Educating and counselling patients in the use of Medicinal Cannabis and related medical equipment.
• Supervising Dispense Technicians in dispensing Medicinal Cannabis and related tasks.
• Supporting Practice Managers in maintaining doctor appointment books and booking procedures.
• Supervising the processing of sales and customer service.
• Processing incoming stock orders.

We have a full-time opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our team in Brisbane's exciting new Medicinal Cannabis clinic and dispensary. You will practice as part of a team that provides face to face and remote Medical and Pharmacy services to patients from diverse backgrounds, delivering patient education and medicines to change lives in ways that previously were not possible.

Your role will include:

• Dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis prescriptions. (Cannabis experience not necessary)
• Liaising with on-site Prescribers to maximise patient care and health outcomes
• Educating and counselling patients in the use of Medicinal Cannabis and associated medical equipment (training provided)
• Supervising Dispense Technicians in the dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis and associated administration tasks.
