Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacist for our Dee Why location. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, supervising store and dispensary operations, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Your role includes staff supervision, inventory control, and contributing to growth strategies while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacist with a valid AHPRA registration.
• Experience working in dispensing medications within a community pharmacy environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commercially-astute with business acumen and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions using MyScripts.
• Day-to-day management of store, dispensary and team operations.
• Dispensary inventory management and order processing.
• Professional patient counselling and providing complete patient care solutions.
• Supervision of Interns, Student Pharmacists and Dispensary Assistants.
• Support and develop new business strategies in pharmacy best-practice.

About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our fast-paced, growing business!

Across Australia, our Pharmacists are dispensing more than 550,000 prescriptions and serving more than 1.5 million customers per week, providing exceptional care and service to local communities.

In the Pharmacist role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Accurately and efficiently dispensing of prescriptions using MyScripts,
• Day-to-day management of store, dispensary and team operations,
• Dispensary inventory management and order processing,
• Professional patient counselling and providing complete patient care solutions,
• Providing supervision to Interns, Student Pharmacists and Dispensary Assistants,
• Supporting and developing new business strategies in pharmacy best-practice.
