Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is recruiting a Pharmacist to join the SA Pharmacy team at Port Augusta Hospital. You will deliver clinical, dispensing and medicines information services, and work to ensure safe and effective medication management in collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health professionals.

This role supports outreach sites in the region, offers broad clinical exposure and a regional lifestyle, and requires Registration with the Pharmacy Board.

About the role

Join SA Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and help deliver comprehensive pharmacy services that make a real difference to patients across the Flinders and Upper North Region. You will provide clinical, dispensing, counselling and medicines information services, while supporting safe and effective medication management in collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health professionals.

The pharmacy department in Port Augusta Hospital provides pharmacy services to Port Augusta Hospital and several associated outreach sites including Remote Area Aboriginal Health Services. This role will provide an opportunity to contribute to high-quality pharmacy services provision in this region. You'll work as part of a close-knit healthcare team, gain broad clinical experience and make a visible impact on community health, all while enjoying access to stunning landscapes, outdoor adventures and a welcoming regional lifestyle
