Job summary

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking a Senior Pharmacist (AHP3) to lead clinical pharmacy practice and deliver advanced dispensing, medicines management and optimisation across inpatient and outpatient services. You will provide trusted therapeutic advice, apply complex clinical judgment and champion safe, cost-conscious medicine use.

As a senior member of the pharmacy team, you’ll coordinate a service area, support medication safety initiatives and mentor interns and students,

Qualifications

• Be a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Bring advanced clinical pharmacy experience across hospital services.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to coordinate a service area.

About the role

Lead clinical pharmacy practice and make a meaningful difference as a Senior Pharmacist (AHP3) with Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. Enjoy diverse clinical experience, professional autonomy and the opportunity to shape pharmacy services in a welcoming regional community.

You’ll provide advanced clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines management across inpatient and outpatient services, partnering with medical, nursing and allied health teams to optimise patient care. You’ll provide trusted therapeutic advice, apply advanced clinical judgement and champion the safe, effective and cost-conscious use of medicines.

As a senior member of the pharmacy team, you’ll lead and coordinate a designated service area, support medication safety initiatives and contribute to service improvement. You’ll also share your expertise through the supervision and development of interns and students, helping build capability across the team.

You’ll join a supportive multidisciplinary environment where your expertise is valued and you can make a visible impact on patients, colleagues and the wider health service.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
