Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Pharmacist for Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. You will provide clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines advice, taking medication histories and counselling patients to support safe, effective treatment.

You will collaborate with doctors, nurses and pharmacy staff to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care, contributing to teaching and quality improvement across SA Pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent; eligible for Pharmacy Board registration.
• Completed hospital or community preregistration training.
• Apply pharmacy knowledge with accuracy and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines advice services to patients.

• Salary: AHP2 – $94,997 to $110,052 p.a. + superannuation and salary packaging

About the role

Make a difference to patient care as a Pharmacist with SA Pharmacy at Lyell McEwin Hospital. You’ll provide clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines advice services that help patients get the best from their treatment. Work alongside medical, nursing and pharmacy colleagues to support safe, effective medication use. You’ll take medication histories, review treatment and counsel patients and carers, helping maintain continuity of care between hospital and the community. Share your knowledge with interns, students and other health professionals, and contribute to research and quality improvement across the service.

About You

• Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Hold or be eligible for Pharmacy Board registration
• Have completed hospital or community preregistration training
• Apply pharmacy knowledge with accuracy and clear communication
