Job summary

Royal Sydney Golf Club seeks two enthusiastic PGA Associates to join the Golf Operations team. You will undertake the PGA of Australia’s 3-year Associate Program starting in 2027 while gaining hands-on experience across golf operations, coaching support, retail and member service.

Both full-time and part-time arrangements are considered for the right candidates. The role offers exposure to event delivery, coaching, merchandising and high standards of member service within a prestigious private

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules and regulations.
• Eligible to enrol in or currently enrolled in the PGA of Australia’s Associate/Traineeship Program.
• Competitive playing handicap or demonstrated golfing ability is valued.
• Customer-focused with a professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist PGA Professional team and Golf Operations staff with day-to-day golf shop operations.
• Support delivery of Men’s and Women’s golf events, including entries, draws, handicaps and results.
• Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests.
• Assist with coaching programs, clinics and junior golf initiatives under PGA Professionals.
• Support retail operations in the golf shop, including merchandising and stock management.
