Job summary

Petstock Group in Horsham is seeking a Casual Retail Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer care and help customers choose the best pet products. You will handle sales transactions, maintain store presentation, and stay up to date on pet care knowledge.

The role requires a passion for animals, side-by-side teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

A passion for animals and providing the best customer service.
Experience in a similar retail environment.
Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team.
Physically fit with ability to lift products up to 20kg.
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals.
Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring new stock is promptly and accurately displayed and replenished.
Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services.
Contribute to a fun, supportive culture in-store where the team loves coming to work each day.
Maintain a strong safety mindset and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
