Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Perth is seeking an experienced site-based Cost Controller/Quantity Surveyor to support a major Oil & Gas project. You will provide commercial support, cost management, contract cost control, and administration to keep objectives on track and within budget.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, planners, and site teams to review quantities, progress claims, variations, and invoicing, delivering timely financial reports and helping manage commercial risk in a

Qualifications

• Experience as Cost Controller or Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas or heavy construction.
• Experience with SMP and E&I projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Cost Control, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related.
• Strong Excel and cost management systems proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review quantities and progress claims for installed items and subcontractors.
• Support contract administration: variations, claims, extensions of time, and commercial correspondence.
• Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Assist invoicing, procurement, and subcontract management.
• Provide accurate commercial reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project team to support delivery and decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
