Vp plc’s Torrent Trackside unit seeks a Mobile Fitter to cover the Perth area, ideal for a small plant fitter or mechanic with experience in maintenance, electrical systems, and battery powered tools for rail infrastructure equipment.

Role requires time-served fitter or mechanic status and a current UK driving license, with full-time hours on site in Perth. The package includes extensive benefits and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Time served as a qualified plant fitter or mechanic.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Experience in maintenance/repair of small plant, electrical systems, and battery powered tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, service, repair of company and customer assets at customer premises.
• Work on your own and as part of a team at customer premises ensuring that the equipment is maintained to manufacturer specifications at all times.
• Complete company paperwork and ensure safe working practices are observed and followed at all times.
• Ensure van stock is kept to required level by ordering service and repair parts as needed.
