Job summary

MLG Oz in Perth, WA seeks a Maintenance Area Manager to lead planning and execution of maintenance, maximizing equipment availability and minimising downtime across a fleet. You will guide a multi-site maintenance team, drive continuous improvement and provide technical support to the maintenance function.

This role requires strong CMMS experience, including PRONTO, and a mechanical trade qualification. You’ll collaborate with operations to ensure safety and reliability across the fleet while

Qualifications

• 4+ years in maintenance planning, supervisory or maintenance management
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably PRONTO
• Strong communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
• Drive initiatives to minimise unplanned downtime and maximise fleet utilisation
• Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure servicing is completed safely and on schedule
• Manage maintenance information within PRONTO, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Ensure all maintenance activities are supported by appropriate work orders
• Monitor maintenance reporting and ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across workshop and workplace
• Build relationships with operational teams across multiple remote mining sites
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance planning and asset management
