DPS Accounting Solutions is a Perth-based firm delivering tax, bookkeeping, payroll, business advisory, and SMSF services to a diverse client base. The Accountant will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare and lodge tax returns, financial statements, BAS, IAS, and payroll reports, and advise on taxation and accounting matters.

Experience with cloud accounting (Xero, MYOB, HandiLedger, QuickBooks) and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce or CA/CPA qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Xero and practical experience with HandiLedger, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and lodge individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns in compliance with Australian taxation laws.
• Prepare and review financial statements, BAS, IAS, and payroll reports for clients.
• Conduct reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Provide clients with professional advice on taxation, accounting, and business matters.
• Assist clients in the setup and management of cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with internal procedures, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, the ATO, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and provide timely updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and contribute to the development of internal accounting practices.
