About the Role

As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries daily tasks in our clients’ homes.
  • Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
  • Basic wound care and self-medication.
  • Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.
  • Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in disability or aged chare, whilst regarded, is not a requirement for the role - full training provided.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle is required
  • A smartphone device
  • Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module
