In this role you will manage personal injury matters from inception to resolution, prepare legal documents, liaise with clients and stakeholders, review medical records, assess liability and negotiate settlements as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' PQE in personal injury law for lawyers.
• Experience in personal injury matters preferred for paralegals.
• Ability to manage matters from commencement to resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or independently manage personal injury matters from start to finish.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, court documents and other legal documents.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, solicitors, medical providers and other stakeholders.
• Obtain and review medical records and supporting documentation.
• Assess liability, causation, damages and quantum where appropriate.
• Provide legal advice and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
• Assist with or prepare matters for mediations, settlement conferences, and litigation.
• Manage file administration, deadlines and priorities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
