Job summary

BlueCare is offering a Personal Carer Traineeship in Dalby and surrounding areas. You’ll complete a Certificate III in Individual Support while you work, with government funding to cover tuition.

As a Personal Carer Trainee you’ll visit clients at home, assist with daily living tasks, transport to appointments, and support independence. The role involves on-road travel and building meaningful relationships; full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance (showering, hygiene, meal prep, housekeeping).
• Support clients with independence and quality of life.
• Complete scheduled home visits across Dalby and surrounding areas.
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Follow individual care plans and assist with daily tasks.
