Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is hiring a Casual Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the community. You will visit clients in their homes, assist with daily activities, and help with light domestic tasks while travelling between appointments.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes for scheduled community care visits.
• Provide domestic assistance with cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing.

Remuneration: $34.50 p/hr + Casual Loading + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

About the role:

As a Personal Carer Domestic you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:
