Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Lowood QLD is seeking a Personal Carer to support residents in a Blue Care aged care facility. You will deliver daily living assistance, follow individualized care plans, and assist with community activities.

Permanent Part Time or Casual roles available. Attractive hourly remuneration and not-for-profit salary packaging options to enhance take-home pay.

Qualifications

• As per role requirements, hold a relevant care qualification (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Experience using common technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops) to support client care.
• Ability to meet probity checks and regulatory requirements.
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance (showering, personal hygiene, meals) and support mobility.
• Deliver care according to each client's Care Plan to support independence.
• Support client participation in community activities and social events.

About the role:

As aPersonal Careryou’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
