Job summary

Southern Cross Care is hiring a permanent part-time Personal Carer in the City of Prospect, SA, to support residents with compassionate, person-centred care. You will work across shifts as required, totaling 55 hours per fortnight.

The role focuses on safe, tailored care, including dementia support, with reference to the AN-ACC framework. Certificate III in Ageing/aged care and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Experience as a Personal Carer with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage your time well.
• Understanding of dementia and Aged Care Standards.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.

• Experience as a Personal Carer and the ability to work without direct supervision.

• Good communication skills and the ability to manage your time well.

• A good understanding of how to support residents living with dementia.

• An understanding of theAged Care Standardsas they apply to this role.

• A Senior First Aid Certificate and an understanding of AN-ACC are desirable.
