Job summary

BlueCare in Childers and surrounding areas is hiring a Personal Carer for community-based in-home support. This part-time permanent role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, meal prep, housekeeping, and transport to appointments.

You will work across client homes, following individual Care Plans and contributing to their independence and quality of life. Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian driver’s licence and probity checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) required.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work required.
• Experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• Ability to satisfy probity checks as required by legislation

Responsibilities

• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits and visiting clients in their homes.
• Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
• Assisting with community activities and appointments as needed
