Job summary

Estia Health Knoxfield is seeking a Personal Care Worker (PCA) on a permanent part-time basis to support residents with daily life, health monitoring and activities. You will work with a supportive team to ensure residents feel heard, comfortable and well-nourished in a welcoming home environment.

Key requirements include a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, previous caregiving experience, and solid documentation and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care required.
• Experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Solid documentation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily life, ensure comfort and meals.
• Support residents with challenging needs as part of the team.
• Encourage activity and engagement for body and mind.
• Monitor health and assist with treatments as directed.
• Provide companionship and respect residents' privacy and dignity.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and team.

About the Role

Estia Health Knoxfield has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Care Worker/PCA to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis.

• Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed
• Work with our team to support those with challenging needs
• Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active
• Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments
• Be a friend to our residents
• Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected

You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
