Job summary

A health services provider in Canberra is seeking an experienced Personal Care Worker Grade 3 to support a complex needs disability client. This role requires flexibility with a rotating roster including day, evening, and overnight shifts. Candidates must have experience, a reliable vehicle, and relevant qualifications, including a Working with Vulnerable People Card and Covid Vaccination evidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a comparable role.
• Able to provide 2 professional references from paid employment.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Drivers Licence, car registration, and insurance required.
• National Police Clearance Check completed within the last 12 months.
• Passport and/or birth certificate for proof of Australian Working Rights.
• Current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
• Evidence of Covid Vaccination (2 doses plus booster).

Responsibilities

• Support complex needs disability client in the Forde Area.
• Work flexible shifts as per rotating roster.

About this role:

Programmed Care requires an experienced Personal Care Worker wth strong experience ito help support a complex needs disability client in the Forde Area.

This position requires you to be flexible with a 7 day 24 hour rotating roster. Offered are Day, Evening and Overnight shifts with ongoing fixed shift roster. You MUST be available across the following shift times.

AM: 0700-1400

PM: 1400-2100

ND: 2100-0700

You will need to have:

• Experience in a comparable role
• Be able to provide 2 professional references from paid employment
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Drivers Licence, car registration and insurance
• National Police Clearance Check (completed within last 12 month)
• Passport and/or birth certificate (proof of Australian Working Rights)
• Current Working with Vulnerable People Card
• Evidence of Covid Vaccination (2 doses plus booster)
• Central support team focused on continued improvement
