Job summary

Right at Home Southern NSW is seeking a reliable Personal Care Worker to support clients in Bathurst, NSW. This role involves person-centred care, assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily activities in clients’ homes.

You will work as part of a supportive team with mentoring, training, and flexible hours under a casual employment arrangement. A current CPR/First Aid certificate and NSW Driver’s Licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Care (essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• National Police Check completed within the last year.
• Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle may be required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred in-home care and support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and daily tasks.
• Help clients with errands, companionship and activities.
• Prepare meals, monitor nutrition and assist with medications.
• Observe health changes and report to supervisors; respond to emergencies.
