Job summary

Right at Home Southern NSW is seeking a reliable Personal Care Worker for casual shift work in Orange, NSW. You will provide compassionate, client-centred in-home care, assisting with daily activities and wellbeing support within clients' homes.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Individual Care (or equivalent) and demonstrate excellent communication, with a current police check, driver’s licence, car insurance, and valid First Aid/CPR certificates. Travel may be reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• National Police Check valid within the last 1 year.
• Current driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance.
• First Aid and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Work in a person-centred, enabling environment respecting client rights and needs.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties.
• Help with daily errands, companionship and support.
• Assist with academic, social or recreational activities.
• Prepare food, feed clients and administer medications as directed.
• Observe, care and report changes in health and wellbeing.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
