Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Part-time Personal Care Assistant at our South Australia site. You will provide personal care to residents, support daily living, and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Join a warm, family-oriented community with mentoring, career development, and scholarship opportunities. A base rate of AU$36.23/hour with penalties for weekends/PH and 12% superannuation. Eligible for study support and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification in aged care or disability care.
• Demonstrated caring approach and good communication skills.
• Ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement.
• Work with nurses and care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful, and supportive care community.
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements.

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability

• Ability to complete required pre-employment checks, including a police check, NDIS Worker’s Clearance and pre-employment medical
