Qualifications

  • Experience in aged care or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication is desirable.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate are advantageous.

What You'll Do

You'll provide vital support to residents by meeting their individual needs with dignity and compassion, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including mobility, meals, and personal care.
  • Contribute to care plan updates and ensure accurate documentation to support ongoing resident care.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, dignified, and comfortable environment for all residents.
  • Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
  • Perform position responsibilities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.

About You

You are a compassionate, patient, and dedicated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to person-centred care. Your strong communication skills allow you to connect with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of support and service.

Your experience and qualifications for the role will consist of:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication is desirable.
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support and a current First Aid and CPR certificate are advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • A current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check - or willingness to obtain if required.
