The Personal Care Attendant plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.

About the Role

Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our residents with compassion and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and supporting residents in their daily activities, including tasks like continence management, showering, dressing, and personal grooming
  • Ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accurately
  • Collaborating in the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions for our cherished residents
  • Managing laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygiene

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a caring and motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of others

  • Experience in aged care or a similar role
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Driver's Licence and Reliable Transport (desirable)
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
