Job summary

Royal Freemasons Ltd in Wantirna South, VIC, is seeking compassionate Casual Personal Care Assistants to support residents at Centennial Lodge. You’ll help with daily living, dignity and wellbeing, while enjoying the flexibility of casual shifts in a supportive care team.

The role focuses on person-centred care, including personal care, documentation, and contributing to a safe, respectful environment. Applicants should have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent,

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Ageing Support or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care or health services preferred.
• Demonstrates a patient, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals.
• Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records.
• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents and hazards.
• Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S and infection control practices.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement.

As a Casual PCA, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents' comfort, dignity, and wellbeing while enjoying the flexibility of casual employment. Working within a supportive and professional team, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
