St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join a friendly Living Support Partners team, providing direct care and supporting residents’ daily living activities in a household setting. Essential qualification: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support/Aged Care with 6+ months in residential aged care.

Flexible shifts (night duties) and strong customer service are required; experience with Autumn Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia) highly regarded
• Flexible to do any shifts, mainly night shifts
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with Autumn Care (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory
