Job summary

Nurse Next Door - Moreton Bay is seeking caring professionals to help clients live independently at home. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship, following a client care plan set by a Registered Nurse.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, have a Cert III in Aged Care or related field, and are reliable with a valid background check. A supportive team and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check or equivalent are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience that is genuine, compassionate and personalised.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
• Deliver care according to the client care plan developed by the Care Designer (RN).
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

• Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset
• Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector), Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion, NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
