King Island Hospital and Health Centre in Tasmania is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in our 14-bed Netherby Home, under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team, have strong communication skills, and bring aged care experience.
This permanent part-time role offers 16 hours per fortnight, starting 2 December 2026, with salary $65,827 to $68,854 plus superannuation.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality person-centred care to our residents in Netherby Home, while being supported through training and teamwork. Our Personal Care Assistant provides direct resident care to our residents within our 14-bed Residential Aged Care Home, Netherby Home, working within the scope of practice of a Personal Care Assistant and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse to achieve planned resident outcomes.

Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing on 2 December 2026.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$65,827 to $68,854 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
