Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a permanent full-time Hotel Services Administrator for King Island Hospital and Health Centre. The role includes day work, 76 hours per fortnight, and handling reception, data entry and records management with confidentiality.
You will support workforce rostering and coordinate catering, cleaning and laundry with clinical and non-clinical teams to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients and visitors on King Island.

The Hotel Services Administration Team at King Island Hospital and Health Centre (KIHHC) plays a key role in supporting the delivery of healthcare services as part of the Tasmanian Health Service. The role provides reception and front-of-house administrative support, responding to enquiries in a professional, timely and confidential manner, while undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties including data entry, document preparation, filing and records management. The role will be responsible for maintaining electronic information systems, ensuring accurate and complete records, and assist with the coordination of staff rosters. This role works closely with hotel services staff supporting catering, cleaning and laundry functions, helping to ensure the hospital and health centre operates efficiently and continues to provide a safe, welcoming and high-quality service to the King Island community.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Permanent full time, day worker, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$76,849 to $82,996 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
