Job summary

Mercy Health, Mercy Place Yarrawonga Woods Point, Yarrawonga VIC, is seeking a casual aged care worker to join a friendly, patient-centered team. You will provide high-quality, holistic care to residents and support families.

You will hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Compassionate, flexible and patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach
• Assessment and monitoring of patients' physical and emotional state
• Support end-of-life care with dignity, comfort, and respect for personal wishes
• Follow the aged care code of conduct
• Document and communicate care information accurately within the organisation and with external providers
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.
