Lumina Care are currently seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide quality care and support to clients across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

You will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming, and meal support
- Supporting client with mobility, communication, and daily living needs
- Participating in implementing and reviewing individualised care plans
- Following behaviour and therapy support plans for clients with dementia or complex needs
- Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in clients’ health or wellbeing to the care team
- Assisting with basic rehabilitation exercises and prescribed treatments under supervision
- Delivering person-centred care in line with Maple Care Solutions’ values and quality standards
- Working and caring for people with physical and mental disabilities
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all clients
- Other duties as required by the organisation and role
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in aged care or community care settings
- Willingness to travel distance and be willing to work various hours
- A roadworthy and registered vehicle and hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and individuals with diverse care needs
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and maintaining clients’ dignity and independence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly residents
- The ability, and commitment, to uphold high standards of work
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Current Police Check
- Full Australian working rights and up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) and NDIS Screening Check
