Orange City Council is hiring a Horticultural Assistant to join the City Presentation team. This role involves outdoor work maintaining parks and public spaces, operating tractors and other equipment, and following strict WHS procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class C Driver Licence, White Card, and relevant horticulture or plant operation experience, with a willingness to obtain Chemical Accreditation as needed. Applications close 3 November 2026.

Qualifikationen

• Current Class C Driver Licence required.
• NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• ChemCert AQF3 Chemical Accreditation or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in landscape labouring, plant operation, or garden maintenance.
• Experience using plant and equipment (tractors, mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong WHS understanding.
