Job summary

Altaira Services is seeking Permanent Night Duty Registered Nurses for full-time positions in Adelaide's aged care facilities. You will deliver high-quality nursing care and support residents with dignity, while aligning with policy and ANMC standards.

Your role involves assessments, care planning, documentation, and leadership on night shifts, with opportunities for part-time hours for the right candidate and strong clinical support from a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration with no conditions.
• National Police Clearance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• First Aid Certificate / CPR.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with Altaira/client policies and ANMC standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate care plans and service outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client needs and review care.
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely clinical documentation.
• Practise safely within scope and policies; ensure accountability.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing development.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses, PCAs, and volunteers.
• Assist with staff orientation, training, and performance support.
• Support student placements and induction of agency staff.
• Contribute to continuous quality care initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and management.
• Escalate incidents and ensure timely reporting.
• Act as senior nurse on shift when required; handle emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with WHS standards.
• Undertake additional duties within role scope.

What you'll do:
