Job summary

Centurion is seeking an experienced MC Driver for our Heavy Haulage Division in Mackay. You will haul over-dimensional and over-mass machinery across regional routes in a permanent full-time capacity.

Ideal candidates will hold an MC licence with Road Train experience and a strong safety record. You will perform pre-starts, load restraint, and regulatory paperwork while coordinating with the operations team for compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must hold MC Driver’s Licence.
• Experience driving Road Trains.
• Desirable: prior Heavy Haulage operations experience.
• Solid knowledge of fatigue management and permit requirements.
• Understanding of load restraint practices and road transport legislation.
• Proven reversing and maneuvering skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport various freight including over-dimensional machinery and equipment.
• Safely restrain machinery and equipment per the NTC Load Restraint Guide.
• Complete pre-starts, checklists, and required paperwork.
• Carry and understand statutory and regulatory permits.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe, compliant deliveries.
