Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling Laverton site is seeking an experienced Excavator/Loader/Material Handler to join a permanent day shift. You’ll operate equipment, load/unload, and help process scrap metal with on‑the‑job training and strong safety focus.

Regular overtime, a site allowance, and wellbeing support are part of the package. You will benefit from four weeks annual leave, training and progression opportunities within a national organisation, plus health and employee assistance programs to support

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Material Handler, Excavator or Loader.
• Forklift ticket desirable.
• Experience in scrap recycling, civil construction, waste or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Demonstrated safety focus and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Material Handler, Excavator and/or Loader.
• Forklift operation if ticketed.
• Load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Load scrap metal onto conveyor for processing.
• Maintain cleanliness in yard and operational areas.
• Perform daily checks on mobile plant and adhere to safety procedures.
