Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking a Permanent Educator for our Palmerston team to design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children and foster strong connections with families and the local school community. This role offers a permanent contract with shifts before school, after school, or during school holidays.

You will help prepare healthy snacks, support exciting daily activities, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment with opportunities for professional development and subsidised

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completion or active study of a childcare-related Certificate III or equivalent.
• Valid working with children checks and safety training are required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children.
• Lead before school, after school and holiday activities.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks to keep children energized.
• Uphold child safety and safeguarding policies and procedures.

As an educator with us, you will get the job security of a permanent contract and you’ll be at the heart of all the fun and excitement—whether it’s before school, after school, or during school holidays. In this role, you’ll help design a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading exciting daily activities to help primary-aged children. Plus, you’ll get to prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks to keep everyone energised to learn and grow.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.


• You have completed, is studying, a childcare-related Certificate III or equivalent


• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).


• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)


• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).


• Availability between 1:50 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
