Job summary

Camp Australia in Oakville is seeking a Permanent Educator to design a safe and engaging program for primary-aged children, with roles across before school, afterschool, and holiday periods. You will lead daily activities, build strong connections with families and the school community, and support nutritious snack provision.

You will be part of a child-safe organisation prioritising wellbeing, inclusivity, and ongoing professional development through subsidised study pathways.

Qualifications

• Must have or be studying a childcare-related Certificate III or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• National Child Safety Training.
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:45 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Design a safe, engaging and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Lead exciting daily activities and social learning opportunities.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks to keep children energised.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community.

Camp Australia is on the hunt for a passionate, Permanent Educator to join our team in Oakville! If you're excited about building meaningful connections with children, their families, and the local school community, we want YOU!

As an educator with us, you will get the job security of a permanent contract and you’ll be at the heart of all the fun and excitement—whether it’s before school, after school, or during school holidays. In this role, you’ll help design a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading exciting daily activities to help primary-aged children. Plus, you’ll get to prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks to keep everyone energised to learn and grow.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Certificate III or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:45 am - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
