Job summary

Journey Early Learning Ocean Grove is seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Educator to join our team, supporting planning, implementing and evaluating programs for our children. This is a permanent part-time role across five days, Monday to Friday.

You will build meaningful relationships with children, families and the community while guiding learning and developing your career in the childcare sector. At Ocean Grove you’ll join a 120-place centre in a warm, homely environment with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised Cert3, Diploma or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
• Assist in the observation and evaluation of children’s individual strengths, interests and preferences
• Design and implement activities to be included in children’s developmental program
• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Educator to join our team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for our children.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.
