Job summary

South Coast Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an Out Of Home Care Caseworker to support Aboriginal children and young people in care within the Shoalhaven region. The role covers Nowra, Goulburn or Batemans Bay locations and operates under the Not‑for‑Profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organization framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or related field or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of issues affecting Aboriginal communities, families and children in relation to care.
• Experience working within a case management model.
• Proficiency in report writing and ability to develop, organise and maintain records and reports in a timely manner.
• Effective time management with ability to prioritise competing demands.

Responsibilities
