Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse for Sydney Dental Hospital. A minimum of 3 years Scrub/Scout and/or Anaesthetic/Recovery experience is required, with current AHPRA registration.

You will work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists to deliver safe perioperative care across the surgical journey. The role supports a part-time permanent position (24 hours per week) withCasual options, offering competitive hourly remuneration and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 3 years Scrub/Scout and/or Anaesthetic/Recovery experience in perioperative settings.
• Solid perioperative nursing knowledge, infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in Scrub/Scout and/or Anaesthetic/Recovery roles.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe procedures.
• Support efficient theatre workflows and maintain patient safety and compassionate, patient-centred care.
