Job summary

Mansfield District Hospital invites applications from motivated Registered Nurses to join our Peri-Operative Services team in a part-time capacity. You will assist across pre-operative, intra-operative and post-anaesthesia recovery, delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care in a rural setting.

Flexibility to cover other hospital areas as needed, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration within a supportive team. Interviews may occur prior to closing date.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
• Post-graduate perioperative or generalist experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of National Standards and Aged Care Standards.
• Patient-centred approach and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to pre-operative assessment and planning.
• Support intra-operative care and anesthesia recovery.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care across the surgical journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and staffing.
